Happy Labour Day: Let’s Look After Our Migrant Workers.

Happy Labour Day: Let’s Look After Our Migrant Workers.

Migrant workers played an important in contributing to the economy and society.

They are involved in jobs that are shunned by our citizens and they do not cross our paths frequently.

They are generally hardworking, law-abiding, and peaceful people.

Perform hard labour, work long hours, and earn comparatively low wages.

And frequently carry out their jobs under adverse conditions.

Their contributions to our communities and society are vital and significant.

As a result of their efforts, our families, loved ones, and ourselves are able to have a better quality of life.

Therefore, let us respect them and treat them with dignity, kindness and compassion.

As we look after the migrant workers, we pay it backward to our forefathers who were once migrant workers on our land.

In addition, we pay it forward for the sake of our progress.

The greatness of our country is a reflection of the way we look after our people as well as the people who are not from our land.
